MCB & MCI respond to Hurricane Melissa’s Impact on Jamaica

After Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica last month, communities in the southwest are facing enormous challenges. Yet amid the devastation, powerful stories of resilience and faith continue to emerge. Methodist churches across the island are actively assessing needs and providing support to those affected.

Standing in solidarity, the Methodist Churches in Britain and Ireland have approved a £24,000 grant to bolster local relief efforts, alongside ongoing donations to the Hurricane Melissa Appeal, jointly led by MCB and All We Can.

Please pray for:

- Safe and fair distribution of aid

- Strength for relief workers

- Access to remote communities

- Resilience for pastors and families

- Long-term recovery and rebuilding
