JMA: Soul Mates 2026
On Saturday David, Rachel and Judith made the journey to Trinity Methodist in Lisburn to be part of Soul Mates 2026.
Our WMP trio led three seminar groups at Soul Mates, sharing about Junior Mission for All (JMA) and how God is working through the Methodist Church in Barbados.
Games of ‘Potta’ kicked off the seminars, followed by time for the young people to think about what they are good at - exploring the gifts God has given them. We learnt a new song together, written by young people at the Youth Arts Programme in Barbados, and we heard the story of Sarah Ann Gill, who used her gifts of courage and hospitality to support the early Methodist Church in Barbados. We hope the young people were encouraged to think about their own gifts and how they could use to use them to build up God’s Kingdom here and around the world.
Thanks so much to IMYC for inviting us along again this year, to the stewards for their help and to all the kids and their leaders who showed up and took part with enthusiasm!
