Developing Links with the Polish Church
This week, World Mission Partnership Coordinator David Nesbitt, and Tim Dunwoody met virtually with leaders from the United Methodist Church in Poland (UMCP): Rev. Andrzej Malicki, Szarlota Kamińska and Rev. Adrian Myslinski.
They discussed the growing relationship between Polish and Irish Methodists through MCI’s ongoing District Link program. MCI’s North Western District connects with UMCP for the purposes of learning from one another and praying for one another. In the online meeting, the group explored ways to develop this connection further.
Two-way visits between Poland and Ireland were identified as a good way to build links between our churches, and it is hoped that some of these will be able to take place in the coming year.
