The political landscape and youth-led protests in Albania have become increasingly violent, bringing fear and insecurity to society. What began as a targeted environmental protest in February, named the ‘Flamingo Revolution’, has rapidly escalated into a wider anti-government protest movement.
The Methodist church in Tirana (white building) is located very close to the police station (black building to the right) and many young people have been detained there for several days.

the politicians and leaders in Albania - that they would be able to find a solution
the young people who have been injured or detained
for the church community
for the smooth running of the Marathon, which will be held on November 15th
