Concern for Christian Girls in Pakistan

There are 4.8 million Christians in Pakistan, making up just 1.9% of the country’s population - a minority facing many challenges, from the potential for deadly violence to everyday discrimination. Amongst them are young girls facing a growing threat. The church is concerned about the risk to Christian girls being forced to convert to Islam and marry underage. Students in Christian schools have been warned not to be too friendly with Muslim youths, causing fear and further division in communities.

Please pray for our Christian brothers and sisters in Pakistan. We pray for all young girls forced into marriage at a young age but especially remember these Christian girls who are being exposed to this threat - we pray for their protection and safety.
