Meet Heather Christie: WMP’s MWI Rep

"My Methodist roots run deep: I have been part of the Methodist Church all my life and was involved with JMA for many years. I have also served as MWI Secretary, Treasurer and President of the former MWI Midlands and Southern District. As All Ireland Mission Secretary, I now represent MWI on the World Mission Partnership Committee. 

World mission has been close to my heart for many years. I currently support Adopt a Child and am involved with Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal. I took part in a mission trip to Haiti in 2014 with the Methodist Church in Ireland. 

I lived in Clonakilty for 39 years and 2 years ago moved to Roscrea, to be close to family. I am blessed with two children and five grandchildren. I am thankful for the friendship, fellowship and shared purpose that have shaped my life of faith and service."

We are so thankful to Heather for joining the WMP committee and know that her breadth of experience and wisdom will add great value to the decision making of the committee. Pray for Heather in her role as Mission Secretary for MWI as the women of Ireland seek to support those sharing the gospel across the world.
