Catching up with Melissa Newell

We caught up with Melissa before she heads back to Ecuador.

It was great to spend time with Melissa, who is serving in Ecuador with SAMS Ireland, supported by a grant from WMP. Melissa shared about the ongoing work with the children in Misahuallí and the progress of the new church building in Ongota - two projects supported by Irish Methodists through JMA 2023 - 2024.

During her time in Ireland, Melissa has spent time speaking in local churches about SAMS Ireland and her role in Misahuallí. Melissa also had the opportunity to speak to youth fellowship groups, hoping to stir some young hearts for mission.

Please pray for Melissa as she travels back to Ecuador. Pray for the children attending the lunches and kids clubs in Misahuallí, for continued progress on the church in Ongota and for those that Melissa has the opportunity to interact with in the local community who don’t yet know Jesus.
