SEN Training Day

At the request of leaders and volunteers from around the Connexion, we are hosting a training day focusing specifically on children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

Saturday 10th January, 10am-4:15pm in Edgehill House, with the option to join via Zoom.

This will be a pop-in pop-out day of training:

10am - Refreshments

10:30am - ASD, ADHD, Behavioural Difficulties (Scripture Union Northern Ireland)

12pm - Break

12:15pm - Dyslexia (Rachael Gordon - Youth and Children's Worker Sydenham Methodist Church)

1:15pm - Lunch

2:00pm - Anxiety (The Big House Ireland)

3:00pm - Break

3:15pm - Down's Syndrome and Developmental Delay (Panel)

4:15pm - Finish

Each session will explore the reality of living with SEN, and offer some practical tips and advice as to how a Church might ensure children and young people with SEN are cared for and included in their context. Click the button below to register for each/ all of the sessions.
