WMP Uganda Visit July 2025

David Nesbitt, World Mission Partnership Coordinator, and Rev. Peter Morris visit the methodist church in uganda.
David and Peter have spent this week meeting with Ugandan Methodists, attending church services and visiting Methodist schools - strengthening connections and learning about the life of the Methodist Church in Uganda.
On Sunday David and Peter attended a church service in Kaliro - the church building is unfinished but faithful believers still gather there to worship. A marquee was considerately deployed to protect their Irish visitors from the heat of the sun. Peter brought greetings from Ireland and the group met the children of the Sunday School.
Please pray for David and Peter as they start their homeward journey tomorrow: pray for safety as they travel back to the airport and for a smooth flight home. We are thankful for this opportunity to meet and connect with our brothers and sisters in Uganda - building relationships and sharing ideas so that the world can know God’s love, is foundational to the work of WMP.
Together, growing God’s world church.
