This week (22nd to 26th May, 2024) Methodists in Sierra Leone will be meeting for their Annual Conference. As in Ireland, Conference is an important time for the church in Sierra Leone. It is a chance to gather with Methodist family, to renew old acquaintances and to seek God’s will for the future. This year, the Conference will also be electing new Presiding and Administrative Bishops.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone during this important time. Pray for:

  • The new leaders of the church.

  • Members of Conference to hear God’s voice, and make decisions inspired by His Spirit.

  • Church growth.

  • God to strengthen the relationship between Methodists in Ireland and Sierra Leone, and for him to show us ways we can work together and support each other.
