Laurence Graham addresses OPCEMI’s Annual Consultation

In May, Rev Dr Laurence Graham attended the Methodist Church in Italy’s (OPCEMI) Annual Consultation. As General Secretary of World Mission Partnership, Laurence often visits other churches to find ways that we can support each other. However, this visit was linked to his role with MCI’s Pioneer Mission Team: Laurence was invited to speak about our experience of Pioneer Mission in Ireland, and to discuss the context for mission described in his book, “Hope from the Margins.”

The Consultation was held in the ‘Ecumene Centre’ at Valletri, in the hills outside Rome. The venue, which is often used to host youth camps and church conferences, provided an excellent space for discussion. There was plenty of mutual learning to be shared, as the attendees discussed God’s mission in both Italy and Ireland.
