Pray for Cuba & Portugal

Through WMP, Irish Methodists are supporting two projects with the Bible Society Northern Ireland: Bible distribution in Cuba and Bible translation in Portugal. Catherine Little, General Secretary of the Bible Society Northern Ireland, has shared these prayer requests for the work we are supporting:

  • Pray for the political situation in Cuba, for the unrest and tension as people face food and medicine shortages.  

  • Please continue to pray for the Bible Commission team as they continue to distribute Bibles and engage with society in Cuba.

  • Pray for the Reading Groups set up by the Bible Society in Portugal as they review and reflect on the new Almeida Translation for future generations.
