MEET 2026: THE GAMBIA

This Autumn, twelve Irish Methodists will be visiting our church family in The Gambia.

The group will have the chance to witness how God's church is growing in a country where 95% of people are Muslims, and see how clinics, schools and agricultural projects all contribute to the ministry of the Methodist Church. They will also have the chance to share in worship, Bible study, and outreach with our Gambian brothers and sisters.

By giving to this fundraiser, you are supporting a unique opportunity for each individual to learn from and be inspired by God's work in another place. The group aren't going to build a school or a church: instead, they will be building relationships with our Gambian church family.

Your giving will support the cost of travel and accommodation, and will make sure that the group aren't a financial burden on their hosts. After these costs have been covered, any extra funds will be given as a gift to the Methodist Church The Gambia to support their ministry.
