A Prayer for Peace in Europe

Creator God, 
we offer you our prayers for the peace of your world. 

For the well-being and safety of our sisters and brothers in the Ukraine and in Russia:  
We pray in the name of the Prince of Peace. 

For wisdom for those who hold power, that they might work together for the good of all people: 
We pray in the name of the Prince of Peace. 

For those who are or will become displaced because of conflict and for those who offer welcome and sanctuary: 
We pray in the name of the Prince of Peace. 

For peace in our own lives, families and churches, 
that we might offer justice, dignity and love for all: 
We pray in the name of the Prince of Peace. 

Gracious God, 
Hear our prayers. 
In the name of Jesus Christ, 
The Prince of Peace. 
Amen.
