Throughout 2024/25, the Methodist Church in Ireland is releasing a series of short videos that share inspiring stories of lives changed by God's transforming work, both within Ireland and beyond.
RACHEl

Rachel's faith journey evolves from a casual belief in God to a profound transformation at Autumn Soul. After feeling distanced from God, she seeks prayer, which sparks a joyful change and strengthens her faith. Her positive changes are recognised by others, highlighting the central role of God in her life.
ANN & Caron
– northwest methodist mission
Caron and Ann speak of their work at Ashmore House, part of the Northwest Methodist Mission. They share of their own journeys of overcoming addiction and surviving domestic abuse, highlighting the importance of support systems and how faith has become significant to both of them.

– tullamore methodist church
Danny shares his life story, highlighting his struggles with addiction and time spent in prison. Through rehabilitation with Teen Challenge Ireland, he discovers structure and spiritual growth, leading to a significant transformation. Now 16 years clean, he values family and living for a greater purpose, encouraging others still battling addiction with his journey and faith in God.

Sina shares her journey from being a routine churchgoer to experiencing a profound transformation through faith. A significant change occurred in 2012, leading to a deeper appreciation for her role as a Society Steward. Sina expresses immense gratitude for the blessings in her life, family, and community.
veron
– Methodist church - guyana district (WMP)
Veron is from Jamaica. She shares how her faith journey moved from complacency, being someone who simply went through the motions of church life, to a life of deep conviction and commitment to God’s calling.
Kayleigh
– MOVILLA ABBEY CHURCH
Kayleigh first reached out to Movilla Abbey Church through Facebook and is now a youth leader there. Once an angry teenager, she is now full of air and lightness, and speaks confidently about her relationship with Jesus.
ANGIE
– open schools worldwide (WDR)
Angie, Director of Open Schools WorldWide, describes how their literacy and numeracy programme transforms lives by helping children gain basic education whilst also discovering that Jesus loves them. World Development & Relief supports this partner's work in Ghana, Zambia, and South Africa.
BRENDA
– Tullamore METHODIST CHURCH
Brenda was invited by a friend to her local Methodist Church. She attended a service where the minister asked, “What would you like the Lord to do for you?” She prayed, “Lord, I just need you to heal me.” Now well and filled with hope, she begins each day asking, “What do you have for me today, Lord?”
PAUL
– BRAY METHODIST CHURCH
Paul attended church out of respect for his wife's family, laughing behind the scenes at those who believed. After joining a course and intent on setting out to prove people wrong, he found himself exclaiming, “It’s all true!” Now, with a fire inside of him, he’s the new guy on the block at an older age, serving in the church’s homeless ministry.
JESHUR
– Methodist Church in Sri Lanka (WMP)
Jeshur has been going to church since childhood. As a teenager he faced struggles and started looking for Jesus and his friends noticed a change. He’s not focused on worldly success because he had found new purpose in Christ. He serves as a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Advisor at the Methodist Church in Wellawatta, Sri Lanka.
