President congratulates new PCI Moderator

The Rev David Turtle, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland on hearing the designation of the 2024-25 Presbyterian Moderator has said:

 “I would like to offer my congratulations to the Rev Richard Murray on his designation as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, and will be praying for God’s blessing on him as he prepares for his year in office.”

Rev Murray is due to be installed as Moderator during PCI’s General Assembly in June.

He will be the 179th Moderator since 1840.
