Condemnation of attack on Multi-cultural Association

The President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev Dr Sahr Yambasu and the Church’s Lay Leader, Ms Hazel Loney have issued the following statement in response to the attack on the Belfast Multi-Cultural Association building on Belfast's Donegall Pass:

The Methodist Church in Ireland is appalled at the news of the second attack on the Belfast Multi-Cultural Association. We stand with our sisters and brothers and commit ourselves, with all who are working for the common good, to build a society marked by mutual care, respect and friendship, where all can live in peace.
