The thoughts and prayers of the Methodist people in Ireland are with all those grieving the loss of loved ones following the horrific attack at Bondi beach.

 We grieve with all who mourn and stand with our brothers and sisters in the Jewish community in Ireland, particularly at this time of Hanukkah.

 We reaffirm our commitment to opposing antisemitism in all its forms and to working and praying for a world free from hatred.
