GIGGLES Conference

Girls In God Giving Laughing Eating Sharing

Joy In the Journey

Thomas Street Church, Portadown

The GIGGLES Conference was held at Thomas Street Church, Portadown, and proved to be a joyful, uplifting, and spiritually enriching day for all who attended. A total of 103 ladies gathered together in an atmosphere of fellowship, encouragement, and shared faith.

The conference began with a warm welcome from Alexa, setting a friendly and inclusive tone for the day. We were honoured to have the MCI President, Rev Alan Wardlow, with us, who brought greetings and encouragement, reminding us of the importance of unity, joy, and purpose in Christ.

Throughout the day, attendees were able to take part in a wide variety of creative and reflective workshops, each offering something unique and meaningful. These included:

Clayful Minds, Bible Journaling, Sing a New Song,

Glow Inside and Out, No-Bake Treats, Create and Shine, Finding Calm and Puppets.

These workshops allowed ladies to explore creativity, worship, wellbeing, and faith in practical and engaging ways, encouraging both personal reflection and shared laughter.

The conference concluded with everyone coming together for a Service of Thanksgiving in the church, a fitting and uplifting end to the day. This time of worship and gratitude allowed participants to reflect on all that had been shared and experienced, and to give thanks to God for fellowship, learning, and joy.

The conference motto, “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known,” was clearly reflected throughout the entire day—in the teaching, the creativity, the conversations, and the spirit of togetherness.

Overall, the GIGGLES Conference was a wonderful success, leaving many encouraged, refreshed, and inspired as they continue their journey of faith.
