In 2025 we hosted a pilot Youth Forum in Dublin with a small group of young people and what we heard was that young people want to be listened to in a way that leads to action and change in the church.
Young people expressed a desire for a Youth Forum to happen again and commented that they would rather engage regionally than at a one-off gathering.
This year (2026), wherever you are in Ireland, let’s come together for an online Youth Forum, taking place wherever your youth group meets, on Sunday 19th April at 7:30pm, hosted centrally and streamed locally. This Forum is a space for young people to speak honestly and be heard. At IMYC, we want to listen directly to your experiences, ideas, and hopes for the future and share this with the appropriate decision-making body within the Methodist Church in Ireland.
This is an opportunity to share what matters to you, what is working, what is challenging, and how as a church family we can better support you in your journey of faith.
