Over the course of 2022, MCI is rolling out the use of Microsoft Teams to Boards & Committees, Districts, Circuits and Societies.
This training is for anyone who may want to know more about Microsoft Teams including why we are rolling it out, how to download the application and also how to use its various features.
There will be four one-hour sessions held weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm from 11th January 2022 as follows:
Session 1: Microsoft Teams: The Basics (Tue 11 Jan 22)
This session will include detail on how to download and setup Teams for first use plus a tour of the application.
Session 2: Collaborating in Teams: Using Teams and Channels (Tue 18 Jan 22)
This session will include an explanation of Teams and Channels within the application and how to create and/or use them to work collaboratively.
Session 3: Files in Teams: Accessing, Creating, Saving and Sharing Content (Tue 25 Jan 22)
This session concentrates on the creation, storage and access to files within Teams.
Session 4: Meetings in Teams: Organising and Participating (Tue 1 Feb 22)
This session focuses on how to attend and participate in meetings on Teams.
Each session will contain a training element of approximately 45 minutes with the remaining 15 minutes being made available to questions from those attending.
