FRIDAY NIGHT VIDEO

Our main speaker for Soul Mates this year is Leanne Dunlop (Scripture Union). Watch the video below where Leanne shares more about what it means to be “TOGETHER” as the body of Christ.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

  • FRIDAY | "What is Church?"

Here you’ll find the images needed to accompany Friday Night’s “What is church?” activity. These images are prompts for the children and young people to begin to think about what church is and how they can be part of it.

  • FRIDAY | Play it by Ear | Drama

Play It By Ear have produced a short video of a drama entitled “Body Parts”. This is to help the children and young people understand that just like the human body works together, so should the church. The drama is based around our memory verse for Soul Mates this year.

  • FRIDAY | Play it by Ear | Script

In addition to their video, Play it by Ear have also provided the script they used for their “Body Parts” drama for use with the children and young people in your own setting.
Get creative, have some fun and act out the different parts for a good giggle!

  • FRIDAY | Makaton Memory Verse

Claire Stewart has put together this video which teaches us our memory verse (Ephesians 4:16) using Makaton - a way to communicate using words and signs - to help make sure that everyone is able to take part and remember the verse well.

  • SATURDAY | Photo Scavenger Hunt

On Saturday we will be running a Photo Scavenger Hunt! This can be done whether you are at the event in Lurgan or taking part from your Home / Hub. Download the printable sheet to take out on an adventure and allow the children and young people to get creative!

  • SATURDAY | In It Together Seminar

This is where you will find the instruction slides to help your children and young people to write letters to members of their church, family or community who have encouraged them or helped them over the years.

  • SATURDAY | In It Together Letter Template

Download the “In It Together” Letter writing template and give your children and young people the chance to thank someone who has played an important role in their faith development. The templates will help those who might need some assistance with sentence starters.
