What is Volunteering?
Our volunteer teams play a significant part in making our events become a reality. You are more than a volunteer. You are providing safe places for children and young people from all over Ireland to encounter the living God.
Please note - All volunteers are expected to have completed the following within the last 3 years through the Methodist Church in Ireland:
Access NI Check
Safeguarding Training.
Volunteer Applications are closed for Autumn Soul, but keep an eye out for applications opening for future events
Do you like Yellow? This is a practical role that has an impact on every participant during the event. Everything from welcoming people as they enter a venue to taking the rubbish out can be included on the stewarding duties at an event. If you have a real ‘can do’ attitude, love working in a team and meeting new people then this could be for you. Join this team if you want to assist participants being part of the weekend.
N.B. Attending a training/information session will be required before the event.

Are you passionate about expressing the love of God through Jesus Christ in prayer for those who need it? Join the Prayer Team, who will be on hand during Main Stage sessions, to create space for people to encounter the Holy Spirit. Prayer Team is done on a rota basis depending on availability throughout the weekend.

Do you have an eye for aesthetics when you look at a space? This team will be responsible for the décor of the various venues which are created over the weekend, from Late Nights to the worship spaces. They will also be tasked to dream and create an interactive Prayer Room for the event. You don’t have to be Picasso, just a heart for the arts, prayer and creating safe places for participants to have fun and engage with God.
Hospitality team 18+ (50/50 or full time)
No barista experience needed yet providing a warm cup of tea or coffee, and replenishing the all-important treats table, is all part of being on the Hospitality Team during the weekend. A Food Hygiene Certificate is required, but don’t let that stop you from applying if you are someone who loves welcoming people and being hospitable to those who need it.
Have you got an ear to hear and an eye for detail? Do the terms “live stream, in-ear monitors, sound checks and switch to cam 2” mean anything to you? Then maybe you would like to put your technical knowledge to good use and be part of the Production Team over the weekend. This team will be responsible for tech in Main Stage, other venues & Late-Night Extras.

Social media, videographers and photographers have a great opportunity to help capture the event as it happens and post event. Do you have any experience in this area that you would like to contribute during the weekend?
