IMYC Adventure Days!

Build relationships, have fun and explore well-being with your young people this summer!

What is an IMYC Adventure Day?
These adventures days have been created to serve youth leaders and young people across the Methodist Church, to allow for relationship building, fun and an opportunity to explore self-care and well-being. We hope that this will be a great resource to young people linked to our churches as connection points over the summer months. We are thrilled to be partnering with The Surf Project, The Big House Ireland and Why Mind in delivering these programmes.

What will the wellness workshops look like?

After our surf session with The Surf Project (all locations), we’ll join The Big House Ireland (NI Dates) and Why Mind (ROI Dates) for a fun and practical session as we unpack and explore how we can increase our STEADINESS in our day to day life – at home, at college, on good days and bad.

Come along for some top tips on how to live life well; and find help, balance, and God’s hope no matter what may be happening in your life now, or in the future.

Who is this for?

  • Secondary/post primary age young people

  • Youth groups/young people connected to Methodist Churches

While primarily aimed at youth groups, it is possible for a family unit to book.  Group leaders & parents/guardian will be responsible for their young people. It is possible for a leader or parent/guardian to choose not to surf but they must remain available on the beach at all times.

How much do they cost?
Cost:£5/€5 per person.

We have been able to host these Adventure Days, at a reduced cost to groups, thanks to funding received from the Joseph Rank Trust, The Education Authority in Northern Ireland and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth in the Republic of Ireland.
