Conference 2016

Conference 2016 will be held in the Portadown District, Commencing on Wednesday, 15 June 2016, at 11am

The Representative Session shall commence on Wednesday 15 June 2016 at 7.30pm

The Conference will consist of 130 Ministers and 130 Laypersons.

The installation of the President will take place on Wednesday 15th June at 7:30pm, in Thomas Street Methodist Church. It is recommended that you arrive in plenty of time to ensure you get a seat.

Designated President and Lay Leader

The Rev William D Mullally, BTh, MA, is designated President of the Conference and of the Methodist Church in Ireland for the Connexional year 2016-2017.
Dr Fergus O'Ferrall is designated Lay Leader of the Conference for the Connexional Year 2016-2017.

Provisional Arrangements

The Service of Installation of the President of Conference will be held on Wednesday 15 June. The Ordination Service will be held on Sunday 19 June.

The Plan of Church Services shall be sent to the President of the Conference for her/his approval. An advance copy shall also be sent to the Secretary of the Conference.

Conference 2015 & Previous Conferences

In 2015 the Irish Methodist Conference was hosted by the East Belfast Mission, 239 Newtownards Road, Belfast, BT4 1AF and was held on 10 - 14 June, 2015.

The central theme of Conference was Mission and trying to get God's Mission as the church's Mission.
